Volunteer

At MAYA volunteering is viewed as a significant means not only to involve people to contribute their resources and skills in working with children and communities but also to enroll them as participants in the process of the development of a civil society.

Volunteering at MAYA is varied - it could involve designing resource material for children, providing technical assistance to the field staff, helping in administrative work, data entry to sourcing books and publications - individuals are welcome to have contributed in their individual capacity.

We also provide individuals with an opportunity to intern with us for a period of 1 year with a particular programme .This helps them to gain a holistic understanding on the working of the the programme and the organisation.
