The film documents issues faced by the construction workforce highlighting critical problems related to information on jobs, skill development, occupational safety, work and living conditions of workers that contribute to the vicious circle of poverty that the workers inhabit.

It presents the perspectives of the various stakeholders – from workers, contractors, architects, project consultants, training organizations, academicians and policy makers – on these issues.

The film presents LabourNet's approach of addressing the issues of workforce development within a systemic perspective also focusing on programme's current activities. An attempt to sensitize the various stakeholders on the crucial concerns of the construction workers, the film hopes to initiate a debate on the need to address these issues holistically.
