In the quest to understand child labour from a systemic perspective, MAYA has been engaged in a constant process of questioning, redefining, and evolving. With each attempt to redescribe the problem and find interventions that are relevant, the organisation's work has moved to a newer level of learning and functioning. It is being increasingly recognised that how the organisation addresses the complex issue of child labour largely depends on its capacity and willingness to constantly redefine itself and its openness to learning; necessitating a situation wherein the organisation needs to look for new answers for already existing questions or new questions for already existing answers.
While this has always existed, the last few years and especially the last year mark efforts to institutionalise processes of learning both within and outside the organisation. In this report, we would like to share some of the key facets of this journey; situating both programmatic and internal organisational growth within this context of Learning, as understood by MAYA.
